I Hate Brangelina

Ah to be sixteen and Angelina Jolie! Something I know absolutely NOTHING about!
Please let me explain why I say this. My schedule in the evening is to sit in front of my tv
(around 6:30pm) , and watch the evening news, followed by Extra and Access Hollywood.
Well, I watched Access Hollywood yesterday and all they seemed to focus on
was when Jolie was sixteen and had a swimsuit photo op. They had her sitting with
barely anything on at all (a skimpy two piece), and vamped for the camera. To be honest, even at such a young age Jolie is beautiful.  Again, we have to give it to her.

As she sat and posed, the people behind the camera were talking to her . I can only
assume that they do this to make the photo subject relaxed and “loose” (hee hee!).
I couldn’ t  tell you what Angelina was saying but I promise you that  it wasn’t  much. Twittling the tendrils of her hair, straightening up then slumping down (she’s sitting), and patting the back of her own head (I believe this was  an unconscience form of self comfort).  Obviously she was a little uncomfortable talking. To be fair to Jolie, she WAS only sixteen years old, and whom at that age is deft at polite conversation?

However , sixteen years later (she’s 32), she still does the same thing! I’ve seen her in interviews and on panels where they discuss film making as serious art,  I remember her sitting in on a round table talk with Robert De Niro and Matt Damon. If my memory serves me right, they didn’t give jolie too many turns to talk because she’s doing this mime routine thing she does. In trying to sound smart and savvy, she plays with her
hair , she mumbles, stumbles and  tosses her head (no doubt to emphasize her glorious mane). And she’s always laughing! Not everyone who laughs is doing this to show
happiness. It could be because:
1. She’s showing signs of  insanity
or
2. She’s got nothing to say.

True she has delivered speeches and  written articles to very prestigious institutions. But even I wonder if her speeches are truly hers. It’s very possible that she has a ghost writer, or at the very least,  a very versatile press agent, to make sure everything is right. I’m not trying to insinuate that she’s not intelligent or talented. But she is NOT a speaker. When giving interviews, she’s very taciturn .

The media and some of the public give Jolie, Pitt and Clooney for that matter , TOO MUCH SWAY.  (And yes I know that I’m just as guilty, but I’m also trying to perform a public service here to keep us all real). This whole public interest for Brangelina(and others), has gotten  out of control! We’ve got to start finding other interests of more
importance, or else we will all start twittling our hair tendrils, straightening up or slumping down and SAYING NOTHING!

There is something inherently unhealthy and plain WRONG about these celebrity couples whose “eves” (women) get pregnant by artificial means. “Any way BUT THE NATURAL way!” This should be the mantra of every celebrity couple who has the super brood, ( the twin
makers). Obviously, there are many celebrities whom have gone this way . This also goes
for the ones who use a surrogate. Another womb walking around and then for a (very high) price, gives over their babies. Yikes! What has happened to this world??! But I’m straying here (sorry brad). brangelina are expecting twins . Everyone finally knows this, after MUCH hemming and hawing from these two, and now IN TOUCH magazine- on their website, has the cover of their latest issue
showing brad and angie glowing at each other. It’s twins! -(big surprise!). The article goes
on to say that brad and angie are having fraternal twins (a boy and a girl)-
( how the heck do they know, they haven’t even been born yet!). But they know - for the doctors told them so. While brangelina are not the only couple whom have used artificial means. It still doesn’t
make it better that all they have to do is pick a boy from column
A , and a girl from column B. Why? The reason why jolie couldn’t
conceive was because she starved herself. This is what’s written,
I didn’t coin this. Of course they go on to say that
she was “grieving”. ( okay- whatever)! But this just goes back to what I
was saying. That there is something unhealthy about this “crop” of
multiple births happening in Hollywood. The odds of all these twins is
AGAINST ALL ODDS. It’s not natural, it’s not right.
